Lapsus Montréal
An exceptional work environment at the heart of a creative, Francophone metropolis open to North America.

On American time
Since 2025, Lapsus has been based at 5455 Avenue de Gaspé within Le Carré de Gaspé, a modern and secure building located in the famous Mile-End neighborhood in Montreal, Quebec. This location gives Lapsus an active presence on a second time zone, ensuring continuity of operations and real-time oversight of digital products in production. It also marks a strategic foothold in North America, bringing Lapsus closer to local users, partners and supporters while easing the deployment of new digital products throughout the continent.

300 m² of operational space
On the third floor of 5455, Suite 335, Lapsus occupies a fully equipped space designed to welcome up to 40 team members in optimal working conditions. Bright, calm and perfectly heated to handle Montreal winters, this area provides a comfortable, functional and stimulating setting built for collaborative work. The building includes underground parking for cars and bikes, showers on every floor, and an exceptional rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Montreal.

In the big leagues
In Montreal, Lapsus operates within one of North America’s most dynamic tech ecosystems. Mile-End gathers an exceptional density of creative studios, leading video game players and AI research centers. By positioning itself at the heart of that ecosystem and working alongside its players, Lapsus taps into an innovation culture that inspires daily. This location also unlocks access to a rare and high-quality talent pool that accelerates our innovation processes.

Mile-End
Born at the crossroads of railway lines and migration waves, Mile-End became a unique neighborhood in Montreal’s landscape. Once a worker stronghold, it evolved into a refuge for Jewish, Greek and Portuguese communities, creating a vibrant cultural mosaic. Today, its streets lined with duplexes, cafés, bakeries and thrift shops welcome a rare concentration of creators, thinkers and builders of the digital world that Lapsus has joined. Mile-End blends neighborhood spirit with that of a living laboratory, offering a peaceful and convivial atmosphere that feels slightly detached from time.

Montreal
Nestled between the Saint Lawrence River and Mount Royal, Montreal is a city with a rich history and a true hub of Francophony in North America. It is distinguished by its cultural and linguistic diversity, vibrant neighborhoods, eclectic gastronomy and prolific arts scene, making it a place where tradition meets international influences. Its long, snowy winters are part of Montrealers’ identity, transforming cold into a warm experience. Lapsus chose Montreal for its North American energy, resolutely European sensibility, and its unique ability to inspire year-round.

Quebec
Land of vast contrasts, Quebec powerfully blends its Francophone roots with undeniable North American openness. Deep forests, untamed rivers and thousands of lakes shape a territory where nature dominates—vast, powerful and inspiring. From Montreal to the Côte-Nord, the Quebec identity is forged through a lively dialogue between culture and landscapes, language and silence, tradition and innovation, all carried by a profound sense of authenticity. Lapsus chose to settle in Quebec to connect with a territory that values boldness and creativity while maintaining a strong brotherhood with France.

French-speaking in America
Lapsus proposes to experience Francophony in the heart of the American continent, within a city where French and English coexist daily. You work, create and communicate in French while staying connected to North American trends, passions and imaginations. Montreal moves to the rhythm of Francophony: cafés, bookstores, festivals and historical neighborhoods reflect a unique cultural blend, and Francophone music is celebrated on every corner, from intimate concerts to major cultural events. Here, language, art and creativity meet to deliver an authentic, modern and globally open Francophone experience.

A creative and cultural melting pot
In Montreal, cultural life fuels evenings and weekends: theaters, cinemas, galleries, artist studios and festivals follow in rapid succession, from music to contemporary circus, humor and dance. You get lost in independent bookstores, enjoy an outdoor concert at the Quartier des Spectacles, explore an exhibition in Mile-End or soak up an auteur film in an intimate Quartier Latin theater. From Plateau streets to revitalized Old Port districts, the city becomes a constant exploration playground where curiosity and imagination thrive.

In symbiosis with the seasons
In Montreal, the year is lived across four seasons. Winter, long but bright, is shared between neighborhood rinks, cross-country skiing on Mount Royal, snowshoeing and trips to the Laurentian or Estrie resorts, while the city lights up with markets and festivals. When warm days return, terraces, parks, bike paths and outdoor festivals take over before fall colors arrive and weekend hikes through Quebec forests begin. This relationship with the seasons provides a lifestyle that naturally alternates between city, nature and outdoor activities all year long.
“At the height of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.”
Albert Camus, The Right to Doubt, 1952 Motto of Lapsus Montreal
